With a group of 30-50 volunteers, we scrapped and painted the rooms used by about 100 severely disabled residents between the ages of 5 - 58 years of age.
The project was separated into two phases:
First phase (May 2005):
3 ladies’ resident rooms were given a flower theme with pretty pink paints and beautiful floral wall murals; The Physiotherapy Room were given a marine theme with fresh blue paint and dolphins wall murals.
Second phase (May 2006):
2 children rooms were given a teddy bear theme with fresh orange and yellow, whereas the remaining 6 male residents’ rooms were also given marine themes and blue paints.
